ASCVerify.site is an online security and verification tool operated by ASC Info Center Limited.

ASCVerify for media

ASCVerify is a public risk-checking service for people about to send money or trust an online profile. It shows what it found, and just as openly, what it could not confirm.

Why I built it

I am a father with a daughter, and I work in a factory.

I designed ASCVerify after night shifts and at weekends, while others were enjoying their time off.

The safety of our children matters to me. I see no reason why fraudsters should win against people who want to help someone, even from the little they have.

It was not about recognition. It was about not sitting idly by while scams continued.

To believe in honesty and not profit from the misfortune of others.

The project architect and the role of AI

I am Milan Mares, the creator of the concept and product architect of ASCVerify. I design how the service looks and works, set its direction and approve individual changes.

I do not have a human development team. I create the project with the help of AI — in this sense, my team is AI and me.

AI tools, particularly Replit Agent, play a major part in helping me implement and program the service. I do not want to hide that help. Without it, I would not have built a project of this scale after night shifts and at weekends.

ASCVerify is operated by ASC Info Center Limited, company number 16795720. AI assists with development, but it is not an independent guarantor of safety or a co-founder of the company. Decision-making and responsibility remain with me as the creator and with the service operator.

My family is the reason the project began, not part of the development team.

What does ASCVerify do?

It checks website links, profiles, photos, QR codes, PDFs and app store listings for available warning signs of fraud, such as fake profiles, fraudulent investment sites and romance scams. Reports separate passed, failed and unavailable checks.

What is a technical signal and what is an AI explanation?

Technical signals come from public or technical data, such as domain or certificate information. AI explanations are generated text that summarises or interprets findings. AI output can be wrong and is not a guaranteed recommendation.

Is ASCVerify a financial regulator or a guarantee of safety?

No. ASCVerify is not a regulator, bank or broker and holds no financial regulatory status. No score, badge or high result guarantees safety, authenticity or future behaviour. Check the official regulator register before investing.

What does SHA-256 mean in reports?

SHA-256 is a hash: a fingerprint used to recognise the same input or record. It is not encryption, not authentication and not a safety certificate.

How are payments handled?

Some tools are paid. Payments go through Stripe hosted checkout, so card details are entered on Stripe, not on ASCVerify. Supported tools do not require an account.

What happens to my data?

Different tools process different inputs. The database keeps verification and report results, hashed requester usage data and payment references. Uploaded media is used for analysis with temporary file handling; we do not promise that nothing is retained or a guaranteed deletion time. AI features can send relevant submitted text or images to external AI providers. Stripe processes checkout and Tawk.to processes live chat connection and conversation data. Do not submit passwords, tokens or unnecessary personal data.

Do the founder photo, company registration and LinkedIn prove the service is safe?

No. They are accountability links that show who is responsible. They are not proof of safety.

ASCVerify is not an investment platform, broker or bank. It does not manage investments, accept investment deposits or promise financial returns.

Evidence and limitations

Reports describe available evidence and uncertainty. No score or badge guarantees safety, authenticity, regulatory authorisation or future behaviour. Unavailable checks have not been performed. Some checks are paid; prices and free-scan allowances are shown in the interactive tools.

For investment decisions, independently check the official regulator’s register and warning list. ASCVerify does not currently claim direct FCA Register or Companies House verification.

ASCVerify.site is the exact domain for this service. A similar service name alone does not establish identity or ownership. A missing search result or unavailable page is not by itself proof of fraud or safety.

What ASCVerify checks — and what it does not guarantee

What is ASCVerify?

ASCVerify.site is operated by ASC Info Center Limited, company number 16795720, England and Wales. It helps assess website links, profiles and supported files for available warning signs. It is not a bank, broker or investment platform.

How do Stripe payments work?

Paid checks use Stripe Checkout. Review the displayed service and price before paying; card details are entered on the Stripe-hosted payment page. Payment references may be retained to confirm a purchase. Stripe processes the payment, not the verification evidence, and does not endorse a checked website or guarantee the report.

What does SHA-256 mean?

Profile verification uses SHA-256 to create a fingerprint of the normalised submitted URL for its verification record. A matching fingerprint can support comparison of that input. SHA-256 is hashing, not encryption, proof of identity, an issuer’s digital signature or a certificate that a website is safe. A hash alone does not anonymise every related record.

Does a high score or badge prove safety?

No. Results describe available signals and uncertainty, not guaranteed legitimacy or future behaviour. An unavailable check was not performed. Before investing, independently verify the operator and authorisation with the relevant regulator. Direct FCA Register and Companies House verification are not currently claimed.

Are all checks free and is no data stored?

No. Some checks are paid; current prices and free allowances appear in the relevant tool. Submitted inputs, technical records and payment references may be processed or retained according to the service and its privacy information. Do not submit passwords, private tokens or unnecessary personal data. A hash is not a promise that no data is stored. A customer account stores the email for sign-in and security messages; a report is kept for 90 days only if you choose to save it, and you can delete it earlier.

Can you certify a diploma or prove who issued a document?

A PDF or image analysis may identify warning signs but does not establish a document’s issuer, a person’s identity or official recognition of a qualification. Confirm issuance with the relevant issuing organisation or official registry. An ASCVerify badge is not a regulated qualification certificate.

A professional website, a convincing profile or a document with an official-looking stamp can appear trustworthy. Appearance alone is not evidence.

ASCVerify helps people assess available warning signs before sending money, sharing personal information or placing their trust in someone. Results should show not only the findings, but also what could not be verified.

Trust does not begin with a green tick. It begins with being able to say: “We cannot confirm this yet.”

The service is operated by ASC Info Center Limited, company number 16795720, registered in England and Wales.
